Definitly the best name for that event!!!
I’ve been invited together with my teammate Tom Court to Latvia for a weekend to attend one of the biggest kiteboarding event from the Baltic sea that assemble almost 100 kiteboarders from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
We were really well received with a great spirit from the Baltic riders and we had perfect conditions everyday… plus the amazing parties that never end!!! no time to sleep or headache for these guys. I couldn’t make it and had to rest… next time I’ll train a little my skills with alcohol before I get there!!! 
)
During the event we’ve been Judging the comp, doing some shows for the crowd, presenting the new Vegas 09 on the beach, helping people to improve their ridings…
I’d like to say thanks to Larss the organiser which did an amazing job with this event, to Maris the NKB dealer from Latvia and all of the Punk Kiters ( I’m lucky I didn’t get a nice HAIRCUT) that we met there and let us have such a good time.

Back on Track
After some problems with my knee due to a hard landing I just got back on the water… I’ve been riding strapless with the new Freestyle fish for the first days just to be sure that nothing happen and prevent any big trouble… And yesterday I just got my new board, the Mallory pro 09, which is insane, even better riding than before and I personally think it looks even nicer, with a retro style… just love it (i’ll let you know more about it soon). I’ve been shooting in a really perfect flat water spot near to Tarifa, and got some nice pictures which i’ll upload soon…
Riders Contest
Riders contest is a good idea coming from kiteboarder Harold Quinquis and it’s all about a competition with videos!!! All riders have to put there own videos with a small intro and their perfect heat and get the most “Shakas” possible to win the comp. For that the video has to get the most points possible and then a jury has to choose the best 3… or something like that.
