The forecast was looking great since last week and it didn’t change as it usually does, pretty strange because it always start to get smaller and smaller and the day before there’s no more wave announced…

But this was a good day, big waves coming from the Atlantic, through Portugal and arriving to our coast, we went first to a spot called Caños de Meca, it was pretty big. Once there I met my friends Alvaro Onieva, Alex and Silvester… they were coming out because it was too big. So I decided to give a try, it took me like 20m to get to the wave, then I waited 20 more min for the set and this one came it was massive, I almost sank… so I had to wait some more time, the spot was full of people. We could see it was holiday and everyone was expecting that day.

So next set came in, I took a pretty good wave going full speed, the wave was so fast and massive… I decided to come back to the beach and check out for an other spot with my friends…

The session was epic, we had lot of fun. No one at this spot and the waves were smaller. We ate at the beach as we came prepared with our food knowing we would stay the whole day at the beach…
